And my post from yesterday talked about our lovely two day mini-vacation to the Big Cat Sanctuary, our mid-week break to help us maintain our life balance! It was an amazing two days exploring this wonderful sanctuary and spending some very special time with my husband and his sister and brother-in-law! And, even though today was Saturday, the boat needed some work to be summer ready! So, our mini vacation complete, it was a work day! Back to maintaining that life balance!

Hubby prepped the boat last week. He sanded it all, taped all around to prep for the anti-foul painting, ordered and picked up the new props from the chandlery, buffed and polished the hull, purchased the primer and paint, and had the engines serviced. Therefore, today was painting the boat day with anti-foul paint and replacing and painting the new props…

And there’s always time to for a little tea break and a selfie to maintain that ever important life balance during a hard day of work! Note the blue anti-foul paint on my chin, cheek and nose! Of course, wearing my Red Sox hat ~ GO SOX!

Finally, time for the great reveal! The best part of the day, peeling off that tape to see the final product!

And at the end of the work day ~ a little more of maintaining that life balance! A sit out on the deck with cups of tea and coffee enjoying a little spring sunshine!
