From the moment you step into The Pig, you’ll notice the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. The restaurant’s interior combines tradition with contemporary touches, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant’s staff is known for their friendly and attentive service and we were very well taken care of and fully enjoyed our meal!
My favorite setting inside was this gorgeous comfy bar and sitting area. There, we relaxed and had a glass of wine and G&T while we absorbed the atmosphere. Also, we perused the menu and had our mouths watering while we decided what our dinners would be!
Of course, the food!!
Hubby and I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the seating area. However, we couldn’t wait to sample the amazing cuisine!
Finally making a decision, I chose the brown crab meat salad for an appetizer! Next, I chose the half lobster for my entree, and it was served with French fries and salad greens….delish!
And hubby opted for the pea soup, made fresh from the onsite garden pickings and the roasted lamb (with french fries and green salad) as his entree:
While visited for a lovely late afternoon and early evening meal…I wouldn’t be averse to staying longer! A weekend stay would be lovely to enjoy all of the surroundings, a few amazing dinners and simply relax!
