Happy Memorial Day to My Friends and Family Across the Pond~

Today is Memorial Day for my family and friends across the pond.

From 1868 to 1970, this special day was observed on May 30th. Since 1970, it is observed on the last Monday of May.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning our U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Forces.

People will have a day off from work, stores will be closed, and there will numerous parades, vigils, and services to honor all of those who have served.

Enjoy this day, and always take a moment to remember ….
