Destination Greece ~ More Travel Tips!

Destination Greece, read on for some helpful travel tips!
Our travels begin ~ Leaving Bournemouth Airport at 7:20 A.M. destination Corfu, Ioannis Kapodi Airport, Greece. We will be arriving at 12:20 PM (with a two hour time difference). We are very excited to be traveling from Bournemouth airport as it is so close to home! Only a 20 minute drive and a smaller airport will make things so much easier!!!
Passport-check, Checked in online-check, Credit/Debit cards-check, Euros check, sunscreen check!
Travel tips at the airport to make your trip less hassled:
Check in online as soon as possible, that makes things so much quicker and easier once you’re at the airport! You can either print out your boarding passes from the airline app or store the passes on your phone ~ easy peasy! Also, make sure you read up on the specific airport you’re flying from and make yourself aware of carry on vs. stowed luggage requirements. For example, at this particular airport, any electronic devices must be in your carry on! That means my hair straightener cannot go in my stowed luggage!
Being aware of these requirements will help you get through security quicker and w with less hassle.
Position yourself near an information board, check it regularly…even as you’re walking to your announced gate. Keep taking a quick look on the chance that the gate may have changed!

Destination Greece ~ options galore!
This is only our second time visiting Greece and we can’t wait to explore more! While we have no specific itinerary, enjoying the Greek peoples’ hospitality and exploring the culture and food are all on our list!
Some travel tips when you visit Greece ~ As when traveling anywhere, try and pack lightly, this will give you extra room in your luggage for the trip home to accommodate any shopping on your travels! Always know the airline weight limit and weigh your luggage before leaving home. You can purchase a luggage scale for about $20 and it is a must-have investment for all your travels! Make sure to pack the scale so you can weigh your luggage again before leaving for home! Also, a little destination currency is helpful, even if only for small purchases or tipping!
