The Post Office Pub in Grafton, MA Yank Country…

Cute pub with the Old Post Office decor… have a look!

Grafton is a small town in central Massachusetts and borders Millbury where we all hail from. Grafton has quite a few yummy restaurants and pubs, but the Post Office Pub is always a fave with a menu that appeals to all!

TV’s showing all the favorite sports teams and of course, for those who want to take their chances, KENO. KENO IS a sort of bingo game where you select your numbers, place your bet, and watch a screen to see if your numbers are called. The amount you win depends on how many of your numbers come in and how much you bet.

Even the bathrooms (loos) have the Post Office theme!

I chose the shrimp scampi for lunch…so yummy! Shrimp (prawns), tomatoes, lots of garlic, olive oil and linguine…

We all had a nice meal and a laughter filled couple of hours…

Oh…and I didn’t imbibe in the gambling, but this pomegranate margarita hit the spot!

No matter where you travel you can always find hidden gems for a lovely meal and get-together.

I ended the day with my grandsons (aged 2 and 5)…a perfect end to the day. We went for a walk in the sunshine, inspected at all the bugs on the ground and leaves ons the trees, splashed in some puddles and held hands…then inside for some coloring and playing with K’NEX building blocks. Priceless…couldn’t ask for more…
