Yank vs. Brit Words!

A few more fun words!

Imagine going to a party at a local avenue and you’re told it will be fancy dress! I’m thinking, okay, maxi dress, sparkles, hair in a chignon!!! Thank goodness I looked at the event online, only to find out I was meant to dress for a theme!! Like a “costume party” in Yank country! Would have made quite an entrance dressed in a long, scooped necked gown while attending a barn dance! Or dressing up in heels and fancy jewelry and turn up at a disco night!!

And when I asked for sprinkles on my ice cream and got the strangest of all looks!!!

Needless to say, it’s always fun, always good for a laugh or two!
