My family in Yank country absolutely LOVES Brit chocolate. Take a look at some of their Brit faves, and some of our Yank faves too!!
My blog is all about sharing and staying connected. So let me share this…whenever I make a trip back to Yank country, my aunt, cousins, and friends all anxiously anticipate my arrival. And while I know they miss and love me, what they are really waiting for is my sharing of Brit chocolates!!! They love the pure milk chocolate flavor. They say the Brit chocolate doesn’t have all the preservatives that are prevalent in Yank country, so the taste is richer, creamier! Some of their faves below:

Back in Yank country, we have a shop called Yummy’s, located in Kittery, Maine.
Here it’s not just about the chocolate. It’s about the sheer volume and variety of the sweets, hard candies, and chocolate available. Needless to say, this store is my grandkids heaven! And I will also share this, boundaries before entering are a must! However, whenever I bring my grandkids here, they are amazing. They think of mum and dad and baby brother back home and make sure we find their favorites too. These kids are so very thoughtful, though I’m partial of course!

Now when my Brit hubby came here, he was absolutely amazed. He couldn’t believe there are actually shopping baskets to fill in this candy mecca. But that didn’t stop him from picking some of his favorites. Yummie’s has everything imaginable. From hard candys to homemade chocolate truffles, chocolates with caramel, with toffee, with pecans, with walnuts, you name it, they’ll have it. Chocolate covered gummies, nuts, raisins, even chocolate covered espresso beans! They have some of the old-fashioned candy that my mum loves like Squirrels, MaryJanes, and Butter Rum hard candies so she anxiously awaits these treasures too! One thing most folks love is the homemade Maine taffy in tons of flavors…
The best of both worlds…take part of both, enjoy both, share both…
