Cold Spell in Northeast Yank Country….BRRRRRR!!!

Have you heard about the cold snap in the Northeast of the U.S.? Check it out!!!

In York Beach, Maine, U.S., one of my fave places, (Northern East Coast) as of this morning (Saturday February 4, 2023) it is -11 degrees Fahrenheit, that’s -24 degrees in Celsius! There is a “wind chill” factor of –35 degrees Fahrenheit!

It is so cold that hypothermia can set in as little as 10 minutes! Schools are closed, shelters have been set up, warnings and informational messages have been published!!

Read the U.S. National Weather Alerts:

York, Maine U.S. -11 degrees Fahrenheit
York, Maine U.S.

Have you seen frozen waves before??!!!

And in Grafton, Massachusetts (where I used to live), Central Massachusetts, Northeast coat of the U.S. (two states south of Maine):

Grafton Massachusetts U.S. -9 degrees Fahrenheit
Weather Alert Grafton Massachusetts U.S.

That’s dang cold! Stay safe and warm my Yank family and friends!!
